Oak Grove is located in northern Anoka County; north of Andover, south of St. Francis, west of East Bethel and east of Nowthen.

It is approximately 36 square miles and the city is estimated to have 8,031 people with 2,882 households.

JOINT FIRE STUDY - The City of Oak Grove has been participating with the Cities of Bethel, Nowthen, Ramsey and St. Francis in a joint study to explore shared fire service. The first phase of the study has been concluded with the completion of the Joint Fire Study Final Report (linked below). All five Cities will consider whether to continue participating in this studies next steps by June 1, 2012. Please contact City Hall at (763) 404-7000 if you have questions regarding this process.
